Self-Service Account Management

Your Federation University account provides you with access to Federation systems and applications such as email, network (Wi-Fi) and computers.

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) - Access to many staff and student applications will require you to be registered for MFA and have set up a secondary form of Authentication. Details on how to configure and manage your MFA methods can be found in our Knowledge guides HERE.

Unsure of your username or password?

  • If you are a new student or staff member, please check your personal email for an email from the University containing your login details.
  • If you have not received an email, students should contact Student HQ on 1800 333 864. For staff, please contact your manager to ensure all onboard processes have been followed.

FedUni Alumni select 'Forgot password' to create a password for first time.

If you suspect your password has been compromised you should change it immediately

Change your current password or view your self-service contact details.

Staff and associates are required to change their password every 90 days. This is not a requirement for students but it is still good practice to change your password regularly.

Forgotten your password or locked your account? Get a security code to reset your password.

In a scenario were you do not have access to your second factor device (such as your mobile phone or token) to complete a login, you can opt to use a TAP as an alternative.

Lost or changed your Multi-Factor Authentication device? Use this option to reset your registered MFA methods. This will prompt you to register your device on next login.
